About The Africa Business and Entrepreneurship Research Society

The Africa Business and Entrepreneurship Research Society, Inc. (ABERS) was created in 2012 with support from a grant of the U.S. Department of education. It is an international and interdisciplinary network of scholars, business professionals, government officials, and members of international organizations and funding agencies. The organization is dedicated to the understanding and advancement of business and entrepreneurship in Africa, in a broad and inclusive sense. Researchers and practitioners from Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, Latin America, and North America come together in annual conferences using French and English as their languages of communication for both conference presentations and journal articles.
