About The Athens Group

For more than 30 years, The Athens Group has been widely regarded as one of the nation's preeminent developers of luxury resort and urban mixed-use properties—including hotels, golf courses, planned communities and amenitized residential products. Our expertise includes site selection/acquisition, project conceptualization and design, land use entitlements, operator selection, project construction, project finance, residential sales and asset management. Based upon project performance and product recognition, we enjoy an unsurpassed track record of successful mixed-use luxury hotel/resort/residential projects. Projects completed by The Athens Group over this 30-year period have become the top performing properties in their respective markets and have provided superior financial returns to the project sponsors. At the same time, these unique properties have become significant economic generators and social gathering places in their respective markets. This has led to the creation of employment opportunities, substantially expanding the tax base and enhancing the quality of life for each local community. The primary geographical focus of The Athens Group is the mainland United States and Hawaii. We continue to pursue new resort property development opportunities, including various mixed-use luxury hotel and residential destinations. We will continue to focus our resources on meeting the strong market demand for unique resort and hotel properties in high-barrier-to-entry markets.
