About The Brutalist

The Brutalist is an independent, international magazine exploring the raw, unapologetic beauty of Brutalism—across architecture, design, art, music, fashion, technology, culture, and much more. Based between Los Angeles and Milan, we document how this uncompromising movement continues to shape spaces, objects, and ideas in the modern world. Each issue is a curated collision of voices, from visionary architects to underground artists, from industrial designers to experimental musicians—capturing Brutalism not just as a style, but as a philosophy. We champion bold design, critical thought, and creative risk-taking, connecting a global community of designers, thinkers, and makers who believe in the power of form, materiality, and honesty.
