About The Bulan Institute for Peace Innovations

The Bulan Institute is a non-profit peacebuilding organization that promotes inclusive and sustainable development to achieve lasting peace. We believe that peace is not just the absence of conflict, but the presence of dignity, justice, and equitable development. We believe that inclusive and sustainable development is fundamental for building just, peaceful and resilient societies. Thus, we align our work with the Sustainable Development Goals—focusing on climate action, clean energy, human security, ending poverty, reducing inequalities, and building peaceful and just societies. We design and implement development projects, foster dialogue, enhance policy change, conduct research, and provide capacity-building to tackle critical challenges to ensure context-specific solutions.
