About The Center for Stress, Anxiety, and Mood, LLC
The Center for Stress, Anxiety, and Mood (CSAM) is a private therapy and consulting service in downtown Summit, NJ. We specialize in providing therapeutic services that are based on the best available scientific evidence, in order to provide the highest-quality psychological care for children, adolescents, and adults. Consistent with that mission, our treatment approach largely makes use of behavioral and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) strategies, including ERP. Our work is also informed by Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) principles, mindfulness, and acceptance models. When you work with our practitioners, therapy will be collaborative, focused on your goals, and action-oriented. Our experience and specialized expertise allow us to help you or your child develop skills to manage anxiety, stress, and mood problems, including: * Depression * Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (we are experts in ERP) * Generalized Anxiety Disorder * Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (we offer TF-CBT, CPT, and PE) * Parenting Stress * Social Anxiety * Trichotillomania and Skin-Picking Disorder * Selective Mutism * Panic Disorder / Agoraphobia * Separation Anxiety Disorder * School Attendance Problems * We are also now pleased to offer couples therapy as well!
