The Changing Face of Medicine (CFoM) is a health think tank that brings together representatives from across the medical profession, patient groups, and commercial organisations to look at the role of the doctor in the future. Our over-arching ambition is to influence long-term policy in this area. The initial time horizon for this work will be looking to the role of the doctor in 2040. Current themes include: 1) Changing Populations & The Changing Planet 2) Harnessing & Humanising Technological Innovations 3) Training & Developing the Clinician 4) The Future of Healthcare & Healthcare Systems
