About The Community Foundation of Nevada County

The Community Foundation of Nevada County serves as a catalyst, convenor, collaborator and facilitator to solve problems and develop solutions to our community’s issues. In addition to a more traditional role as grantmaker, the Community Foundation of Nevada County fulfills a critical role in community development, acting as the “glue” that helps bind our community together. Its value derives from its dual capacity to shine a light on issues of critical, local importance and to attract resources to meet those needs.
