About The DateKeepers

Who We Are Our founders, Itto and Mekiya Outini, are a wife-and-husband team dedicated to helping high achievers tell their stories, supporting authors of literary fiction and creative nonfiction, and creating opportunities for young professionals like themselves. The Outinis' work has appeared or is forthcoming in The North American Review, Fourth Genre, The Michigan Quarterly Review, The Chicago Tribune, Chautauqua, and elsewhere, and they have received support from the MacDowell Foundation, the Steinbeck Fellows Program at San Jose State University, and the Fulbright Program. They hold an MA and an MFA, respectively, from the University of Arkansas. What We Do We offer a full suite of services tailored to authors: book coaching, developmental and structural editing, copyediting, proofreading, support with grants, fellowships, and book proposals, personal branding, publicity, market research, social media management, strategic development, negotiation training, promotion, professional referrals, and more.
