About The Daughters Community Foundation

The Daughters Community Foundation (DCF) works to build communities where girls and women can thrive - free from violence, equipped with the knowledge to make informed decisions, and supported to grow into confident leaders. Many young women today face risks such as digital exploitation, unhealthy relationships, limited access to mentorship, and a lack of safe spaces to learn and grow. DCF focuses on prevention, education, mentorship and leadership development to address these challenges early and support young women in navigating critical life decisions with confidence. Our work is delivered through four key pillars: 1. Free to Become – Prevention and safeguarding programs that raise awareness on digital safety, consent, healthy boundaries and gender based violence through outreaches, awareness campaigns, and tools such as the Ask Free chatbot. 2. The Daughters Project – Mentorship circles designed to strengthen self-awareness, leadership skills, and emotional resilience among young women. 2. Choosing Well – A storytelling platform featuring conversations on decision-making, personal growth, and leadership, shared through monthly interviews and digital content. 4. Reclaim – A healing and reintegration curriculum designed to support survivors of trauma and violence as they rebuild confidence and reintegrate into their communities. DCF collaborates with religious institutions, schools, universities, educators, and community leaders to expand access to safeguarding education and mentorship for girls and young women. We welcome partners, volunteers, and supporters who want to contribute to safer environments and stronger opportunities for the next generation of women.
