In this uncertainty, diasporas have emerged as established assets of finance, ideas and networks for places and organisations to perpetually innovate through this change. Diaspora engagement, therefore, has a moment-in-time opportunity to be at the forefront of transforming economies and societies for the better. To deliver this, diaspora engagement itself must build upon the foundations of the past decades to embrace a spirit of discovery and experimentation.
