About Empathic Minds Empathic Minds was founded by Chartered Psychologist Dr Peter Sear as a space for reflection at particular moments in life—often not at the beginning of a journey, but after success. Many people reach a point where professional achievement, responsibility, or recognition no longer provides the sense of meaning it once did. From the outside, life may appear settled or successful; internally, however, there can be a quiet restlessness, a loosening of direction, or a growing curiosity about what comes next. These moments are not necessarily crises, nor are they signs of failure. They are often signals that an earlier way of living has completed its work. Empathic Minds exists for this territory. The work is grounded in depth psychology and informed by contemporary psychological research. It is concerned less with solutions or strategies, and more with understanding—particularly understanding what is emerging beneath the surface during periods of transition or loss of meaning.
