About The Energy Source

The Energy Source (TES) is a multidisciplinary child development centre founded in 2014 with a vision of providing high-quality, inclusive education and therapy services for children and their families. Founded by physiotherapist Joanna Hutt, TES was created after recognising the need for accessible, coordinated therapy and support services for both neurotypical and neurodiverse children in Malaysia. Our goal is to provide a one-stop centre where families can receive the support they need under one roof. At TES, we practise a child-led, neuro-affirming approach. We recognise and respect each child’s unique strengths, needs, communication styles, and ways of experiencing the world. Our aim is to support development in ways that honour each child’s individuality, while working closely with families to create meaningful, functional outcomes in everyday life. Today, our team of over 30 child specialists offers occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, physiotherapy, psychology, feeding therapy, social-emotional development support, academic learning support, parent support, family therapy as well as professional training and workshops. We believe every child deserves a safe, supportive space where they can be themselves, build skills, and improve their quality of life — and we are here to support the whole family through that journey.
