About The Entrepreneurs Associates (tEA)

The Entrepreneurs Associates (tEA) was conceptualized in the birth of a new millennium as a non-profit. The Entrepreneurs Associates (tEA) which now denotes the non-profit section with its social enterprises was seeded as a small team mobilized by our Founding CEO Neichute Doulo, after he was awarded the Ashoka Fellowship, leading to its formal institutionalization. The 'Entrepreneurs Associates - EA' as they audaciously named themselves was founded at a time when there was a pervasive craze for government jobs and aversion to all other forms of employment. Our founder foresaw that this trend would lead to unemployment and social unrest if unaddressed and hence considered it critical to spread awareness about the need to create opportunities for jobs and employment. This led to 'EA' championing the cause of entrepreneurship and advocating its needs. EA demonstrated leadership in communications within the region during its initial years by developing the first-ever newsletter on 'Entrepreneurship' namely "Katalyst.” Continuous efforts were put into organizational branding through the creation of notepads and advocacies, putting a step ahead of its peers. With expanding work and the need to provide better services to its members EA helped institute a cooperative namely EATACOL in 2010, establishing a working affiliation with an NBFC in 2014, and successfully facilitating social enterprises in 2016 such as ASPORA and EANFER. At present tEA represents the non-profit along with its social enterprises to service the needs of its growing members. With 25 years of championing entrepreneurship in a state where government jobs are highly pursued, tEA is constantly working to promote entrepreneurship in the North Eastern Region of India. The organization is facilitating the growth and development of a pocket of communities in Nagaland, Manipur, Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh.
