About The Essential Baby Company Ltd

At The Essential Baby Company, we know that big problems require big solutions, and we’re not afraid to push the envelope. We’ve taken on the mission of remedying inadequate maternity care from every angle from supporting a marginalised community on an individual level to supporting inclusive research and development data collection via our diverse Patient and Public Involvement & Evaluation group. The Essential Baby Company ensures no expectant parent gets neglected or forgotten. Our inclusive and accessible antenatal classes are designed with Black and brown skin women and birthing people in mind. We create a safe and welcoming environment where they can get honest and genuine advice to navigate pregnancy, labour, birth, and newborn care. We have also created My Village: Maternity Network, supported by My Village: The Tribe to help guide service users safely though maternity services in the NHS. We provide families with the information they need to advocate for better care from medical professionals. Our holistic approach ensures that they are not just physically ready for parenthood but emotionally, mentally, and financially prepared as well.
