About The Estates Strategy Partnership

The Estates Strategy Partnership brings together experienced practitioners across every domain of estate management to help education organisations build the governance, operating model, and capability the DfE Estates Strategy requires. Not a product. A partnership. The partnership works across five connected domains of estate management: governance architecture, operating model design, compliance infrastructure, people and capability, and assurance and sustainability. Its founding partners bring direct sector experience from education compliance, trust operations, and governance. The DfE Estate Management Standards and the associated annual return, required from autumn 2026, have made the challenge of demonstrating assurance across the whole estate a formal obligation for every Responsible Body. The partnership was designed to help organisations meet that obligation in a structured, sustained way. The initial consultation is free.
