The Far Out Initiative shortens the time between the release of well-being research and the development of marketable interventions to improve the living conditions of individuals. Our core focus is the Ananda Lines Project – an effort to systematically replace animals in markets that generate chronic and unimaginable suffering with animals that lack the capacity to experience physical and mental suffering, but nonetheless maintain functional nociceptive neurons that send non-agonizing damage indicating signals to the brain, preventing the self-injury behaviors that are sadly typical of most forms of congenital pain insensitivity.
