About The Ganga Foundation

The Ganga Foundation is an organization focused on enhancing the Quality of Life of persons with spinal cord injury in India. Since September 2009, our work has touched the lives of 5,000-plus persons with spinal cord injury across India. The genesis of The Ganga Foundation is the spinal cord injury in 1990 sustained by S Vaidyanathan, Co-Founder, while a student at Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore. Collaboration is our key strategy, as together we can do more to solve the massive unmet needs of persons with spinal cord injury in India. Experience sharing, peer trainers, rehabilitation support, enabling of livelihood, access to quality mobility devices, networking, and initiatives at community inclusion via sports, culture and design underpin our grass root work.
