About The Habibat Project

Global environmental stories reported and taught like no other. At The Habibat Project, we report stories about individual and community actions that help mitigate climate change effects, conserve biodiversity, protect the environment, and raise awareness for a primarily African audience. Through monthly webinars, community discussions, and workshops, we teach the lessons and contexts behind our reported stories to the members of our community and our general readership to reduce a lack of awareness and create a communal charge to identify similar occurrences in their communities and take action.
