About The Herodotian Magazine

We are a student-based History magazine and the University of Oxford's only undergraduate-run History publication. Founded in the summer of 2025, we aim to provide a platform for a wide range of ideas, discussions and debate within the field of History, accepting submissions from all students under a termly theme which can be found on the homepage of this website. The Herodotian is a proudly free-speech, nonpartisan publication. Opinions expressed in articles are those of the individual writers only and do not reflect the views of the Herodotian. Please send submissions to editors@theherodotian.com. Happy writing!
