About The Icarus Writing Collective

The Icarus Writing Collective is dedicated to telling stories that retell or adapt literary classics and stories from mythology. Founded in 2022 by authors Elizabeth Zarb and Kyle Ross, we publish short and flash fiction to bring lovers of antiquity together. We don't believe in limiting creative passion; there's no such thing as flying too close to the sun.
