About The Identity Salon™

The Identity Salon is a curated forum for senior digital identity practitioners, researchers, and policymakers to have candid, working-level conversations about where identity is heading. Salon meetings are intentionally small and invitation-only, held under the Chatham House Rule to support open discussion of emerging risks, governance gaps, standards tensions, and long-term tradeoffs. We capture and organize those conversations into in-depth Salon reports that reflect the questions, disagreements, and early signals that surfaced in the room. These reports are designed to help others pressure-test roadmaps and rethink problems they’re already grappling with. Because not everyone can be in the room, The Identity Salon operates on a subscription model. Subscribers get access to the Salon reports and related research, making the insights from these conversations available to a wider audience. The Identity Salon isn’t a conference, a webinar, or a place for product pitches. It’s a space for thoughtful discussion and for sharing what can be learned when experienced people are allowed to talk honestly.
