The INN St. Thomas-Elgin is the region’s only 24/7 low-barrier shelter, offering immediate, life-saving support to individuals experiencing homelessness. We provide a safe, inclusive, and dignified environment for women, seniors, 2SLGBTQ+ individuals, and all adults in need—meeting people where they are and walking with them toward stability and hope. At The INN, we believe everyone deserves access to shelter, support, and respect. Our team works tirelessly to provide more than just a bed—we offer trauma-informed care, harm reduction, and pathways to permanent housing, mental health support, and community connection. We are often the last resort for many in crisis, and we take that responsibility to heart. We are proud recipients of the 2025 Impact Award from the St. Thomas & District Chamber of Commerce, alongside our partners at St. Thomas Police Services and City of St. Thomas Social Services.
