About The Kirkwood

We are The Kirkwood; a thriving, vibrant, and vital community spread right across Kirklees. From our employees and our patients, to our donors, volunteers, and supporters, every single one of them is part of The Kirkwood movement. We help to improve the quality of life for local people, against all the odds. When time is short, we help everyone in our care to live well and make the most of every single day. We make the complex simple by focussing on what's important. And we support families and loved ones to live on - and live well. If there’s one thing that defines us more than anything it’s support - the one thing that keeps The Kirkwood running. And the reason for that support is profound. Because in supporting The Kirkwood we’re all supporting life itself - constantly working to help improve it against all of the odds. The Kirkwood Support Life.
