About THE LIBERTY KITCHEN PROJECT

THE LIBERTY KITCHEN PROJECT is a street food social enterprise/charity working with people in and out of prison to deliver skills, hope and opportunity for life. Liberty Kitchen's award-winning recipes - all the original ideas of its participants - and training programme provide 'A way in >> A way out' ! So far, Liberty Kitchen has worked with over 150 men in HMP Pentonville and worked with a third of those upon release. While food is at the heart of the programme equal emphasis is placed upon understanding individual needs. This sees trainers providing one to one support, mentoring and an enterprise qualification which gives men the chance to develop their own business ideas.
