About The Llama Sanctuary Society

The Llama Sanctuary Society (Canada) — also known as The Llama Sanctuary — is a registered Canadian charity located in Tappen, British Columbia. We rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome llamas and alpacas in need, providing lifelong sanctuary for those who cannot be rehomed. Since 2005, The Llama Sanctuary has offered a peaceful refuge where compassion, education, and connection come together. Our work extends beyond rescue — we provide educational programs, volunteer opportunities, and therapeutic experiences that foster kindness, mindfulness, and respect for all living beings. Every bale of hay and every act of support helps us provide medical care, nutritious feed, and safe shelter for more than 60 llamas and alpacas under our care. 🌿 The Llama Sanctuary Society is funded entirely through donations, sponsorships, and the efforts of volunteers and supporters who believe that every life matters. 👉 Learn more at llamasanctuary.com 🦙 The Llama Sanctuary Society — Canada’s Registered Charity for Llama & Alpaca Rescue
