About The Medico-Legal Society

The Medico-Legal Society was founded in 1901 with the aim of promoting medico-legal knowledge in all its aspects. Its members are qualified, in-training or academic members of the medical, legal and other related professions as well as all those who are interested in medico-legal issues. The Society meets in central London on the second Thursday of each month. Members can also attend meetings remotely. A recording of each meeting is subsequently posted on the Society’s media platform. This can be accessed by members via the Society's website. Members attending meetings in person are also welcome to join the President, the speaker and the members of the Society’s Council for a reception following each presentation. This provides an excellent opportunity for networking.
