About The Memphis & Shelby County Film/TV Commission Foundation

A 501c3 agency created by City & County government dedicated to the local advancement of film, TV, and its music. Our mission is to promote these industries and develop economic opportunities for vendors and individual crew and cast. The Commission team works very hard to recruit productions and to coordinate both projects from out-of-town and hometown projects. Researching and assisting with filming sites, marketing crew & cast through the Commission's on-line production directory, and providing contact and coordination with the Memphis Police Department and the Sheriff's Office are all in a day's work. The Commission is known for its very professional, intense professional development workshops lasting 1-2 days and taught by industry professionals.
