About The Mulberry Club

The Mulberry Club is a private members’ house located within a Grade II listed building in Sheffield’s Arts Quarter. Created with a long-term view, the Club exists to provide a considered environment for dining, conversation and time spent well. It has been developed not as a venue or a concept, but as a house - one shaped by shared expectations, discretion and a respect for place. The building itself was constructed in 1913–1914 and has long been associated with trust, reliability and civic purpose. Its restoration has been guided by those same principles, allowing the Club to continue the building’s history rather than overwrite it. Mulberry offers a full dining programme, a bar, private rooms and a small number of suites for members and their guests. Alongside this, the House hosts a carefully curated calendar of events, talks and cultural moments intended to encourage regular use rather than occasion-led visits. Membership is limited and considered by application. The Club is designed for individuals who value presence over performance, consistency over novelty and quality that reveals itself over time. Phones are kept out of sight, photography is not permitted and the focus remains firmly on the experience of being present - whether over a meal, a drink a game of snooker, or a quiet evening spent well. Situated among Sheffield’s most established cultural institutions, including theatres, galleries and concert halls, The Mulberry Club takes its place as part of the city’s evolving cultural landscape.
