About The Museum of Oxford Development Trust

The Museum of Oxford Development Trust (MOXDT) is a registered charity dedicated to supporting the work of the Museum of Oxford - the only museum dedicated to telling the story of Oxford and its people. As a development trust, we raise funds, build partnerships, and advocate for the museum’s future. Our work includes securing grants and donations, supporting staff and volunteers, and helping the museum remain inclusive, and community-focused. Since reopening in 2021 following a major redevelopment, the Museum of Oxford has become a hub for learning and community engagement. Our board of trustees brings a broad range of expertise - from finance and fundraising to education, marketing, and heritage - to help sustain and grow this vital city resource. We work closely with the museum team, providing independent strategic support while ensuring public benefit remain at the core of everything we do. 📍 Based in Oxford | Charity no. 1173867 🌐 Learn more about the museum: museumofoxford.org
