About The National College of Hypnotherapy and Coaching

Founded by Paul Smith, The National College of Hypnotherapy and Coaching was created from real-world experience—not theory. After years working in leadership and behavioural change, with direct experience as a Personal Protection Officer (PPO) operating in high-stakes, high-pressure environments, one thing became clear: People don’t struggle because they lack knowledge. They struggle because of how they think and react under pressure. In real life, especially in high-stakes environments, there is no time to pause. Decisions are fast, emotions take over, habits drive behaviour, and performance is shaped by how well an individual can manage their internal state. Yet most people are never taught how to do this. This is why the college was created, to bridge the gap between knowing what to do and being able to do it when it matters most. Our approach combines hypnotherapy, coaching, and behavioural techniques to help individuals take control of their thoughts, behaviours, and responses in both everyday life and high-pressure situations. We support clients with anxiety, stress, confidence, habits, addiction patterns, smoking cessation, weight management, sleep issues, phobias, and performance under pressure. Every session is tailored. We provide a safe, confidential, structured environment where clients can reset, refocus, and regain control. This is not about quick fixes. It is about rewiring patterns, building resilience, and creating lasting change. Clients describe our approach as professional, grounded, and results-focused—built on real-world understanding of how people think, behave, and perform under pressure. Our mission is simple: help people take control of their mind when it matters most. If you are ready to move beyond understanding and into real change, we are here to guide you. Change your mind. Transform your life.
