The assistance the Commission provides focuses on individuals who are a part of the following categories:- 1. Families who are affected by natural disasters such as windstorms, earthquakes, landslides etc. 2. Old Age Pensioners 3. Fire Victims 4. Flood Victims 5. Socially Displaced Persons 6. Destitute Families The Commission offers three (3) grants to assist citizens, these are:- 1. The Minor Repairs and Reconstruction Grant (MRRG) - Valued up to $15,000.00 TTD 2. Emergency Repairs Reconstruction Assistance Grant (ERRAG) - Valued up to $25,000.00 TTD 3. Development Project (DP) - In this instance, the value granted is determined on a case by case basis along with the Board of Directors approval. The assistance provided by the Commission, given on a matching basis, provides the construction materials while the individual or community supplies the labour.
