About THE NEW LOCAL nonprofit

The New Local is a women-led, artist-founded nonprofit dedicated to amplifying local, female-identifying artists while expanding access to arts education. Through exhibitions, workshops, and artist-led programs, we create welcoming spaces where creativity thrives and community connects. Our education initiatives center underserved children, teens, and emerging creatives, removing barriers to participation and nurturing lifelong creative confidence. Rooted in place and powered by collaboration, The New Local believes art is essential civic infrastructure, not a luxury.
