About The Northern California Land Trust

Established in 1973 and headquartered in Berkeley, the Northern California Land Trust is dedicated to developing affordable housing and community facilities through the Community Land Trust model. We help communities and resident partnerships create resident- and community-led housing through cooperative, condominium, and other resident-controlled models. We play a crucial role in forming new Community Land Trusts (CLTs) across California. We provide various services, including property management, real estate brokerage, development, and direct housing counseling services to our residents and community partners.
