The Ohio Center for Strategic Immigration Litigation & Outreach (OCSILiO) is a nonprofit legal organization providing free, full-scope representation to immigrants in ICE detention across Ohio. Founded in 2020 by frontline litigators, OCSILiO is the only organization in the state designed from the ground up to serve the unique needs of detained immigrants. We are abolitionist in our vision, strategic in our legal practice, and unshakable in our belief that no one should be imprisoned for seeking safety. Our work doesn’t stop at the courtroom—we also educate communities, train future advocates, and amplify stories that challenge the injustice of the immigration system. We take the cases others can’t. We stay when it gets hard. And we never charge our clients.
