About The Planning Council

We link people needing a variety of human services to providers, government agencies, non-profits, corporations, and other organizations, all working to improve their quality of life. The Planning Council affects real change and helps build stronger communities throughout parts of Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. In Virginia, we serve Hampton Roads, Western Tidewater, Northern Virginia, and the Eastern Shore. Our dedicated team reaches across geographic boundaries and organizational structures to bring together the right partners to transform ideas into reality. We connect individuals and communities with the resources and programs that build capacity and a better future.
