Established in 1996 with one of the first National Lottery grants, our venue uniquely blends the charm of its late 1800s origins with modern enhancements to provide an inspiring space for artistic expression. As a proud National Portfolio Organisation of Arts Council England since 2015, The Point is committed to delivering exceptional live performances, educational classes, and hands-on activities. Our facilities include a main auditorium, dance studio, studio theatre, innovative Creation Space, and meeting rooms, accommodating a diverse array of events for audiences and artists alike. We work collaboratively with community groups and strive to foster strong connections between audiences and the arts. Our dedicated team is engaged across our two venues, The Point and our sister venue, The Berry Theatre, ensuring a rich and collaborative experience. Managed by Eastleigh Borough Council, we prioritise the well-being of our staff, visitors, and the planet.
