The Record Co. creates accessible pathways to music creation that strengthen Boston's cultural ecosystem, preserve creative spaces, and build sustainable careers through community-centered education and affordable professional resources. What We Do: Operate 47,500 sq ft of professional creative space across two Boston locations Serve 2,800+ monthly users from 131 Greater Boston communities Provide studio access at $10-80/hour vs. market rates of $100+ Deliver workforce development through partnerships like Bunker Hill Community College Support 400+ creative businesses and career pathways Our Impact: We're Boston's creative infrastructure—the foundation where music makers find their space, build their skills, and create careers that last. Through our integrated ecosystem at 960 Mass Ave and 55 Morrissey, we've proven that creative space preservation generates economic development and community stability.
