About The Renaissance Orchestra

The Renaissance Orchestra is a bold and innovative ensemble reshaping Atlanta’s music scene. Founded in 2024, we bridge the worlds of classical mastery and contemporary culture, seamlessly blending orchestral grandeur with the rhythms of Hip-Hop, R&B, and beyond. Under the visionary leadership of Founder & CEO Tyrone "OG" Bowie, Music Director Abiye Fubara, and Conductor Dionne Davis, we are redefining what an orchestra can be. Our dynamic collaborations with acclaimed artists—such as Grammy Award-winning Susan Carol, world-renowned speaker Les Brown, and the electrifying Akeem Ali—showcase our commitment to pushing creative boundaries. A standout moment includes our captivating performance with Akeem Ali at Variety Playhouse, where we brought orchestral storytelling to life alongside opening act Payton Moore. Through immersive and unforgettable musical experiences, we connect with audiences on a deeper level. At our core, The Renaissance Orchestra is more than music—we are a movement. Our diverse, exceptionally skilled musicians are dedicated to making orchestral music inclusive, powerful, and culturally resonant. We’re not just playing notes—we’re creating experiences that are felt, leaving a lasting impact on Atlanta and beyond.
