About The Shelter Collective

The Shelter Collective operates in the social housing sector in Regional Qld, which faces a high demand and low supply of affordable housing options. According to the Queensland Government’s Housing Register, there are over 1,000 people on the waiting list for housing in Rockhampton alone, as of June 2022. Without affordable housing, people are sleeping rough, sleeping in cars, or overcrowding available houses.
