About The Silver Academy - Central PA's Jewish Day School

The Silver Academy is a Jewish Community Day School whose purpose is to educate Jewish students from pre-school through middle school. The Silver Academy is dedicated to welcoming families from all spectrums of Jewish practice. It is the goal of the school to nurture each child and to develop in each child a love of learning. The Silver Academy strives to combine the best secular and Judaic education possible in a quality program, which develops each child's intellectual capabilities. In a warm environment, rooted in Jewish texts, values, and traditions, our outstanding faculty guides each child's journey in academic, social, and spiritual growth. The Silver Academy students develop critical thinking skills, a passion for knowledge, a love of Israel, and a desire to contribute to their community, the Jewish people, and the greater society. Small class sizes allow for individual attention that is critical for the success of our children. The Silver Academy's unique philosophy and integrated curriculum stress the values and traditions of our rich Judaic heritage and American democratic ideals, while preparing students to meet the challenges of contemporary society.
