About The Somerville Foundation

The Somerville Foundation is a catalyst for change. The Somerville Foundation reinvests community growth resources in the people of Somerville in order to create a more equitable and vibrant city. We exist in our city for its people — to systemically empower those who have been systemically disempowered and to create conditions for everyone to realize their human potential. We function as a catalyst to ignite and shape the efforts of effective organizations working towards transformative change in our city. By investing in our community, we believe the Somerville Foundation can help build community wealth, and create a pathway for a more equitable and vibrant Somerville.
