About The Southend Care Bank

We run non-referral Community Care Banks in Southend where impoverished families and individuals can come and receive - essential toiletries (shower gel, shampoo, toothpaste, etc) - washing detergent - nappies, period, and incontinence products We provide dignified experiences, and (where logistically possible) warm, comfortable spaces for people to rest and connect with others. We also facilitate the redistribution of resources like winter coats, books, toys & clothing. We have an intersectional feminist ethos and are deeply committed to equity and inclusion.
