About The Sussex Beacon

The Sussex Beacon is a specialist facility, providing support and care for people facing the challenges of living with HIV. We are to become the UK’s only dedicated hospice for LGBTQ+ people, uniquely combining inclusive care with expertise in HIV specialist care. This will operate from our existing 10 bed clinical facility. Our services are run from our centre in Brighton where we have a 10-bed inpatient unit, therapy rooms and larger rooms for group work. We also have a landscaped garden for patients and visitors to enjoy all year round. We aim to provide high-quality care and support in a friendly and homely environment. We also provide care in the community.
