About The Swag

Welcome to The Swag! A proud member of Relais & Châteaux, The Swag opened for its 40th Season in April 2021. Perched almost a mile above sea level on a breathtaking ridgeline bordering The Great Smoky Mountains National Park, The Swag is an acclaimed mountaintop luxury hideaway just west of Asheville, North Carolina. The highest boutique destination on the east coast, the one-of-a-kind getaway is known for stunning views, romantic sensibilities, impeccable food and service, and authentic and warm hospitality. Hosting only a few dozen guests at any one time, the all-inclusive escape is a favorite of travelers who treasure The Swag's rare and restorative compination of epic natural beauty and authentic hospitality.
