About The Tutoring Collective

Now in our 15th year, we've worked with over 12,000 families, and have changed those children’s lives! The Tutoring Collective has grown organically – by word of mouth – which means we have grown based on the experience that parents have had with the tutors and with Laurie – a NYC parent of 3 sons - who speaks to every parent, answering questions, strategizing and viewing every single student and family situation in a unique and individualized way. We are here to help both parents and students. The NYC Schools are complex; we have navigated our way through, and we share our expertise and experiences. Our results speak for themselves, with the return of students year after year, bringing with them siblings, friends and family. The numbers are everything: Huge improvements in SAT/ACT scores. Extremely high percentage of admission into the top Specialized High Schools; Entry into top level and reach colleges, AP, GMAT, MCAT, ISEE, SSAT and more. Increased NYS Scores, Increased grades, further understanding and crucially improved confidence levels!  We would love to speak with you. That one-on-one voice and personal connection is essential to learning about your child! There is no ‘typical’ - every single student and family dynamic is different. We are one of, if not the only Tutoring Group where the founder and CEO speaks to each parent. That is because Laurie is a 3rd generation New Yorker, a parent and somebody who deeply knows and understands the system with an innate ability to connect with you. Every question you have is important. Whether it’s about academics, teachers, schools, family dynamics and more - we can help you! LET'S TALK! We are currently working with students, pre-K through 12th Grade, plus all college levels. Every subject, every test prep, every type of enrichment and help.
