Established on Church Street in Toronto’s Gay Village in 2004, The Village Pharmacy is Toronto’s first independent HIV specialist pharmacy. Fully accredited by the Ontario College of Pharmacists, The Village Pharmacy has opened a second location at 535 Yonge Street, where it provides point-of-care HIV testing and full prescription dispensary services, including PrEP and PEP medications. Owner/pharmacist Zahid Somani, is a University of Toronto graduate who, along with his team of certified pharmacists, are committed to providing clients with a full range of caring, non-judgemental HIV pharmacy services, including access to HIV/AIDS treatment medications, patient advocacy, insurance consultations, medication counselling, and a deep level of locally-specific HIV/AIDS information resources.
