Our goal is to help individuals discover their God-given purpose and strengths which leads to developing healthy relationships, attitudes and environments that flourish. What is Counseling? Counseling can mean different things to different people. And, at different times in one’s life it can means something different. Counseling can look like: Support – Clients may need a neutral, non-biased listening ear due to feelings of being alone due to lack of family support, repeated losses, grieving for friends or family or physical limitations that hinder social interactions. Wisdom – Clients are able to explore their personal values and outcome of decisions. Clients may have had difficult life circumstances due to their choices or the choices of others. A counselor walks alongside of you as you decide the next steps in the journey. Encouragement – Clients may want someone encouraging them to take the next steps or the accountability of taking the next steps towards a goal. Professional Expertise – Clients may have struggled with a problem for a long time and having a counselor to explore options and next steps provides great relief.
