About The Voice of Early Childhood

The Voice of Early Childhood (TVOEC) is a reflective platform dedicated to amplifying the voices of those within and connected to the early childhood profession. You will find the weekly podcast on the website, YouTube and 19 podcast streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Podcasts and Audible. You can also access hundreds of newly published and archived articles, and of course the annual conference. Grounded in values of inclusivity, accessibility, and collaboration, TVOEC bridges theory and practice by bringing together educators, researchers, parents, and professionals who support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing. Through thoughtful articles, podcast episodes, and shared reflections, TVOEC offers space for critical dialogue about the experiences, challenges, and insights that shape early childhood education. It recognises the complexity of the profession and honours the expertise of those working directly with children and their families. TVOEC seeks to: • Highlight diverse perspectives and lived experiences; • Connect current research with everyday practice; • Support educators in reflecting on their own values and approaches; • Advocate for the rights, voices, and wellbeing of young children. At its heart, The Voice of Early Childhood is a community-led effort to nurture connection, foster curiosity, and inspire change across the early childhood landscape.
