About The Water Project

The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization who provides clean water and sanitation in sub- Saharan Africa. Since 2007, we develop and equip local partners to build water wells, sand dams, spring protections, and other water sources in sub-Saharan Africa. Your support ends the water crisis and restores hope, one community at a time. Your support means safe water today…and tomorrow. The Water Project revisits past water projects to make sure they are still working, providing communities with lasting, safe water. You are investing in the end of the water crisis. For every gift, you'll receive stories, maps, photos and other information about the community you helped and your specific project. You’ll know exactly how your giving makes a difference.
