About The Yan at Broadrayne

The Yan at Broadrayne, a contemporary bistro with beds, a short stroll from the idyllic village of Grasmere. Our picture-perfect 17th-century converted sheep farm with glorious views across the Lake District National Park is a place we have fallen in love with. We think you will too. Whether you’re on the quest for excitement, relaxation or celebration, our award-winning collection of accommodation here at The Yan at Broadrayne offers a luxurious place to take off your walking boots, chill out and rest your head, before another day of adventuring in The Lakes. From contemporary ensuite bistro bedrooms with skylight views to heritage self-catering cottages nestled around a picturesque farmyard to glamping pods filled to the brim with mod cons, we’ve got the perfect place to act as your Lake District home away from home, alongside a bucket-load of family-style hospitality. Join us at The Yan Bistro for seasonal menus inspired by our farm’s history - rustic Cumbrian classics, nostalgic British favourites, and exciting modern dishes - all made from the outstanding local ingredients with which Cumbria is blessed. Open for breakfast and dinner, we’ve redefined casual dining. We serve truly delicious food within a wholesome atmosphere, where everyone from walkers fresh off the fells to families dining for an occasion are welcome. Whether you are visiting us as an individual, couple, family, dog owner or anything else in between, you will be welcomed as part of The Yan clan and enjoy a Lake District getaway like no other. Being surrounded by stunning landscape, we are all too aware of how important it is to protect our precious part of the world and the wider planet. That is why being environmentally conscious is embedded within our DNA, without sacrificing our guest experience.
